8TH STREET APARTMENT BUILDINGS
This project involved the careful renovation of two eight-unit rental apartment buildings located in Brooklyn’s historic Park Slope landmark district. The apartments maintain their traditional railroad-style layouts, thoughtfully updated to meet modern living standards.
Key improvements include redesigned bathrooms and kitchens, complete window replacements, and upgraded mechanical systems featuring central air conditioning. A common laundry room was added in the cellar for tenant convenience.
For enhanced accessibility and outdoor living, direct rear yard access was created for the first-floor units, blending historic charm with practical modern amenities.
