WEST VILLAGE COMBINATION

Horrigan O'Malley was proud to be commissioned for a fourth time in this landmarked West Village apartment building.  The couple came to Horrigan O'Malley Architects looking to combine their two bedroom apartment with an adjacent one bedroom apartment.  The party wall between the two units was removed creating an expansive living and dining area.  The kitchen was reconfigured to allow for more generous circulation between the appliances. For the new dining area the couple commissioned an artist to create a stone mosaic which was installed as the backsplash at the  custom designed cheery wood buffet.  In the new master suite  an existing bathroom was combined with a kitchen to create an large master bathroom with adjacent walk-in custom closet. A washer/dryer and custom window cabinetry were also installed.
