Whether you’re planning a gut renovation of a townhouse, seeking to maximize the efficiency of your apartment, or aiming to open your living space to the outdoors, Horrigan O’Malley Architects is here to help. We believe design is far more than simply arranging a series of rooms; it is an opportunity to explore a broad range of influences, inspirations, and possibilities. By listening attentively, exchanging ideas openly, and fostering honest collaboration, what might otherwise feel like a sterile process becomes an enjoyable and creative journey. After all, your home is more than just a building—and your architect should be more than just a designer. At Horrigan O’Malley Architects, we embrace that role wholeheartedly, working closely with you to ensure a fulfilling partnership that results in an exceptional home. We see the architect’s role not as one of domination but as a guide, leading the project to completion while always keeping your top priorities in focus. This collaborative approach produces gracious, efficient, and comfortable spaces in which to live and work. Horrigan O’Malley Architects offers comprehensive services from pre-design through construction completion. Our design philosophy balances deep respect for the past with excitement for the future, yielding work that is varied, vital, and enduring in quality. Whether restoring historic homes or creating sleek, modern interiors, we bring the same level of dedication and expertise to every project. We collaborate directly with developers, owner’s representatives, and homeowners alike. Since 2001, Christa Horrigan has provided clients with expert design services and brings extensive experience navigating NYC Landmark and DOB approvals for new construction and restoration projects. Additional services include adaptive reuse of existing structures, commercial project design, revocable consent, NYC Landmark window approvals, historic exterior restoration, millwork, kitchen, and lighting design. Our established relationships with skilled engineers, expediters, material suppliers, and industry specialists foster a collaborative and productive environment throughout every phase of the project.
