GRAND ARMY PLAZA
This apartment renovation is in a well-known prewar building designed by renowned architect Mario Candela at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. The family wanted a modern kitchen that would work well with their mid-century modern furniture. Horrigan O'Malley custom designed a kitchen which would meld with their design sense. The windowed kitchen features custom designed white and teak cabinets with Blanco Arabescato marble countertops. A teak edged pass-through connects the kitchen with the adjacent dining room. Custom cabinetry was also designed for the guest bedroom.
